My name is Brittany and I am a Portland, Oregon native who made her way to Chicago by way of Nashville, Tennessee. I like to keep a pulse on the newest restaurant and brewery openings in Chicago, while simultaneously planning my next adventure to the furthest reaches of the world. In my spare time, I (sometimes successfully) try my hand at making cheese, bread, bitters, jelly and just about anything else that requires a million steps and can be screwed up easily. This blog was developed to share with you honestly (and humorously) my quirky little life.

If you don’t know me personally, you may note that my “Chicago” and “At Home” tabs are sorely lacking content… My husband and I have been abroad for his job for the last 6 months, living between Morocco and Turkey, and now we are located in France. We are slated to be abroad until August before we move back to Chicago!
